Dales Ponies
Identifing the need for more versatile pony, that
is capable of filling the needs of the entire family,
Poedarosa Farm has introduced the Dales Ponies
 to Virginia. Dales Ponies are known as the great
all-arounder. Suitable for any discipline.  Dales
Ponies can take your child to Pony Club then you
for a trial ride in your own back yard.

These ponies are not for sale but their foals are!

Midnight Jazz- 14hh, 8yo grey Dales pony mare.  Jazz is great at dressage. Super w/t/c & jumps course. Excellent X-country jumper. Has a 2007 grey filly by her side-FOR SALE.


Canadales Prim & Propper- 14.2hh, 7yo black Dales pony mare.
Prim is excellent at cross country jumping. Prim is bold and will hack out alone or in a group. Prim is in foal for 2008 (FOR SALE).


Duchess- 14.2hh, 4yo black Dales pony mare. Duchess is an excellent dressage pony. Nice suspension and  form. She has been trained to drive.


Poedarosa's Perfect Starr- yearling filly out of Prim by Canadales Understated Perfection. Starr will remain at Poedarosa as a lesson pony and brood mare.


They excel in driving, dressage, & cross-country
 jumping. Being Draft Type Ponies they can easily
carry an adult & are kind enough to carry children.
I have found that the Dales breed has the temperment
 & presence to achieve great success in Virginia.
Cross Your horse/pony to make an excellent foxhunter
 for children or adults.
Dales ponies are very easy keepers & have out standing
hooves.
